A Baltimore native, Kelsey Everett grew up with a fondness for the Chesapeake and the watershed.

Everett graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and geography. She also is working on her masters degree in natural resource management at Oregon State University.

‍

Kelsey started her professional career through a yearlong internship program through the Chesapeake Bay Trust, Chesapeake Conservation Corps working with the National Park Service.

‍

Through that internship, she had the opportunity to work closely with Chesapeake Conservancy where she learned web development and graphic design.

‍

In her free time, she volunteers with Potomac Fiber Arts Guild where she assists with web development and digital media tasks.
